        You do not have to dispatch your shipment in Vienna, Bratislava or Prague. You have the option to save on road transportation if you dispatch your shipment at the Zilina Airport in Dolny Hricov / code ILZ /. Our airport provides standard cargo service trough CSA airline.

How will you be advised about the arrival of your shipment?

The cargo manager will advise you about the arrival. You can also check it by telephone on number: +421 41 5068 100.

What do you need to pick up your shipment?

• Identification card
• Copy of your airway bill
• Business license
• Power of attorney if the receiver cannot come in person
• Cash to cover handling charge if not covered by the shipper

What do you need for custom clearance?

You can pick up your shipment only if custom clearance is done. That can be arranged by the receiver himself or by a shipping company.

For the custom clearance you need to submit:

• Identification card
• Certificate stating the legal status of a firm – original or certified copy, no older than 3 month
• Power of attorney if the receiver stated in business license can not come in person / if there are two business representatives, power of attorney must include signature of both of them /.
• Verification of VAT number
• Invoice
• Certificate of origin of the goods
• Custom declaration / those documents can be filled for you by any shipping company for extra charge /

What kind of special CARGO shipment can be shipped to Airport Zilina and under what conditions?

What kind of identification you need to send a shipment?

• AWB /airway bill/ made up by the cargo employee based on “Shipper´s instructions to issue an airway bill” form. The form will be available at CARGO station. We can send you the form by e-mail on request. The airway bill can be filled up by CSA contracting shipping agency.
• Business invoices in English /minimum 3 pcs/
• Pro form invoice in case of noncommercial shipment /as samples/
• Supporting documents requested by country of final destination
• CCD /if shipped outside the EU/
• All shipment must be submitted custom cleared

Who will issue the CCD /common custom declaration/?
The CCD can be issued by any local shipping agency or in Colspedie, Pri celulozke street, Zilina.

What is the dead line to submit a shipment ?

The dead line is 10 hrs prior the scheduled departure of the CSA flight.

What are the size and weight constraints for a shipment on CSA operated flights?

The scheduled flight OK 956 from Zilina to Prague and OK 957 from Prague to Zilina is provided by the ATR.

Who is responsible for shipment packing?

All shipment submitted at Zilina Airport must be securely packed in order to prevent the possible damage during the transportation.

How to mark a shipment?

All pieces of shipment must be marked with address of the shipper and receiver. All copies of documents needed for the shipments must be packed inside the first piece of the shipment.

What kind of export service we provide?

• Labeling of the shipment
• Marking of the shipment
• Storage for the shipment

For export is necessary to indicate the exact size and weight of your shipment in order to calculate transporting charges. The transporting charges are calculated based on weight. Only if volume of one kilogram is more than 6 dm3 transporting charges are based on volume weight. The volume weight is calculated by multiplying dimensions of the shipment in cm and dividing the result by number 6000. The final result will be used for AWB rating.
